What do I do if I have an issue or question?

You can contact the LMC office  or alternatively you can speak to your local LMC rep. Details of who your local rep are can be found here. 

When does the committee meet?

Lothian LMC meets every month to discuss current issues, plans for any future developments and any other items of interest that have been brought to the committee’s attention by our constituents.

How do I get my voice heard?

Each year, Lothian LMC represent Lothian GPs at the national LMC conference.  If you have a motion that you would like to be considered for a future conference, please contact the LMC office with details.

How are the LMC representatives chosen?

LMC representatives are re-elected every 4 years (or sooner if due to resignation). LMC office advertise all LMC representative vacancies as they become available and all GPs within the locality advertised are able to nominate themselves for the position. When there is more than 1 nominee for a seat, an election will take place.
