Quarryfoot Practice Salaried GP/Partner (6 – 8 sessions) – Come and work with us!

Quarryfoot Practice has an exciting opportunity for a salaried GP/Partner to complement and enhance our existing team.

Our friendly practice currently consists of 2 Partners, 1 salaried GP, Advanced Nurse Practitioner, 2 Practice Nurses, 3 HCA’s and an experienced admin team.  The team delivers in-house family planning and joint injections so there are opportunities to get involved and to receive supported development in these areas of work and also for a new colleague to help shape our future by contributing and leading on the ideas and interests they are passionate about.

We are a friendly practice that recognises and values a healthy life-work balance.   We are also flexible on start date.

Quarryfoot Practice is an innovative practice and we are part of the RCGP ‘Green Impact for Health’ project.

Appointments
Our appointment structure is 10 minute appointments and home visits are carried out at the end of the morning, although there is not a great demand for these. Clinical staff meet for coffee at 11.30am to provide essential catch-up time.

Premises
The practice share the Health Centre with 2 other practices, District Nurses, Health Visitors, Midwives and other healthcare professionals.

Extended Team
The practice also have a Pharmacist, Physiotherapist and a Mental Health Nurse provided by NHS Lothian.
