Newbattle GP Vacancy

Due to population expansion and the opening of a satellite practice we are looking to recruit a 4-8 session GP. We operate a GP triage system which allows for convenient working flexibility. We have a fantastic team and continually look to improve our working environment.

Newbattle Medical Group operates across two sites located in Mayfield and Newtongrange. Our main building in Mayfield was purpose built in 2004 and continues to serve us well. Due to an expanding local population, we opened a second smaller site in Newtongrange in 2018 and are open to new patient registrations.

We have a large population of over 17,500 patients. This is matched by our large number of GPs, offering one of the highest doctor to patient ratios in Lothian. All our doctors and nursing staff undergo annual internal and external appraisal. We are proud to be a training practice for medical students, junior doctors and future GPs.
